Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi-Agra (By Road-220 Kms)

Activities: Sikandara (Tomb of Emperor Akbar), Agra Fort

After an early breakfast embark for Agra, a historical city and an abode to Taj Mahal.  On reaching Agra, check-in at the reserved Hotel and freshen-up. Later set-out to visit Sikandara (Tomb of Emperor Akbar).  It is believed that Mughal Emperor Akbar commenced the construction of his own mausoleum while he was alive as he wanted to have a splendid and impressive mausoleum according to his own choice.  Later visit the Agra Fort built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD and experiences the splendid Mughal architecture through the Moti Masjid and Musanman Burj at Agra Fort. It is believed that Shah Jahan was imprisoned in the fort and died here. Evening is reserved to visit the vibrant bazaars of Agra, popular for fine marble art which till date is carried on by the descendants of the families of builders and artists of the Taj Mahal.  Spend rest of the day as per your choice.

Day 2 Agra

Activities: Taj Mahal, Itmad-ud-Daula Fort, Fatehpur Sikri

Have your breakfast and proceed for Agra sightseeing.  Start your day with a visit to the globally renowned and Seven Wonders of the World “THE TAJ MAHAL”, built in perfect white marble by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Undoubtedly, there is no other historical monument in the world that has evoked as much attention and aspiration from the tourists as Taj Mahal has, a unique symbol of Love. The next attraction on the tour is Itmad-ud-Daula Fort, a Mughal Mausoleum, also referred as Baby Taj. Later proceed to Fatehpur Sikri, the finest examples of Mughal architecture built in the 16th Century by Mughal Emperor Akbar. After sightseeing tour, return to your hotel and spend rest of the day as per your choice.

Day 3 Agra-Delhi (By Road-220 Kms)

Activities: Travel & Leisure

Check-out from the Hotel after your breakfast and drive back to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, you will be dropped at your respective location.
